A flexible 12 month course to conduct a local clinical audit project
This virtual distance learning course, supervised and tutored by Stephen Ashmore and Tracy Ruthven from the Clinical Audit Support Centre, is perfect for all those who need to carry out a local clinical audit project and would welcome the support of a clinical audit professional to help them through the process.
All delegates collect two sets of data and the focus is on creating a meaningful audit relevant to their organisation that improves the local delivery of patient care. Many clinicians including doctors, nurses and therapists have enrolled on this course finding that it meets their personal needs: learning is flexible and can be undertaken to fit in with busy schedules. Projects improve patient care and impress appraisers. The accreditation can be put towards revalidation and CPD requirements and enhancing career prospects.
Anyone expected to do an audit who doesn’t have access to a local audit team would especially benefit from this course, as well as anyone tasked with leading a clinical audit project.
The Clinical Audit Support Centre have been running this distance learning course for over 10 years and are pleased to offer this as a level 3 accredited virtual course with Healthcare Conferences UK.
The CASC tutors are experienced auditors and hold national teaching and clinical audit qualifications.
Delegates can enroll onto the course at any point during the year, and then have up to 12 months to complete their audit and submit the final report.
